Bare prints on paper (unmatted and unmounted) have been added as an option on the PRINTS page.

Prices for mounted and matted prints have been reduced.

Today marks a major overhaul of this website.

The default image size is now larger (1000 pixels wide and/or 800 pixels high), but there is no full screen option. File sizes have been reduced which should speed up the loading of images in Flash.

The notecard ordering has changed. You can choose from 12 cards rather than bundled sets. It's also possible to have any image on the website printed as a notecard. Panorama cards will be available by the end of this month, as soon as I receive the back ordered card stock.

Four new galleries were added to the Galleries page: Death Valley, Trona Pinnacles, Eastern Sierra, and Petrified Forest. Note that you can find the same image in several galleries, e.g. Color, California, and Eastern Sierra. This will make it easier to find an image if you are looking for a specific location.

I hope the New Year finds you well and enjoying this magical ride called life.

Several changes to the website were made over the holidays:

A new gallery of images made with the Hubble Space Telescope has been added. These images are courtesy of ESA / Hubble and are not copyrighted. They are so stunning I've decided to offer fine art prints of these images.

Both my books, Western Dreams and Painted With Light are now available. Western Dreams is more of a photographer's guide with field notes, USGS maps, and a section on the Digital Darkroom. Painted With Light is the coffee table version with higher print quality and unfortunately a higher price due to high printing costs.

A special offer is available of an 11x14 matted print for only $95.00, This print size is normally $150.00.

And last but not least, I am now offering 5x7 notecards of my most popular images plus a set of Hubble notecards. They come complete with envelopes and are printed to the same high standard as my larger prints. Essentially they are mini prints in the form of a card and could be framed if desired.
